Profile Professor He, admitted to West China Center of Medical Sciences, Sichuan University to study clinical medicine in 1977, began to work in the radiology department of West China Hospital at the end of 1982. He was involved in breast X-ray diagnosis in 1983 and CT examination in 1985, and has been using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) since 1990. In 1995 he went to Finland to study for breast diagnosis. He has nearly 40 years of experience in medical imaging. He has published more than 100 papers in SCI and core journals, and has edited 12 monographs. He won the first prize of provincial science and technology progress and the second prize of ministerial science and technology progress.Dr. He is one of the doctors first carrying out puncture localization of small breast lesions that could not be touched. The smallest breast cancer found by him was only 2 mm in diameter. His breast disease imaging research is unique, with the major topics including:1. Study of the relationship between primary breast cancer sex hormone and X-ray manifestation.2. Radiological study of small breast cancer.3. Preoperative localization of the lesion cannot be seen in the mammary gland.4. Standardization of mammography.5. X-ray manifestation of breast hyperplasia (including fibrocystic changes).6. Radiological study of breast cancer interstitial reaction.7. Contrast study on X-ray and MR imagings of breast cancer. His special expertise lies in early screening and diagnosis of breast cancer and lung cancer.
