Profile Dr. Yu Hong graduated from the School of Medicine, Peking University. He holds a doctor's degree in emergency medicine and cardiovascular medicine. In 2005, he studied at the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover University in Germany and worked as a cardiovascular physician. In 2013 and 2017, he went to Stanford University School of Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center to complete the Interventional Cardiology Fellows Course. In 2017, he worked as an advanced cardiovascular physician at Tokyo Heart Center in Tokyo.Dr. Yu Hong has been studying in America, Japan, Germany and other developed countries for many times. He has over 20 years of clinical work experience and has been the subject leader of cardiology for more than 10 years in a row.He has worked in Beijing Tongren Hospital, Shanghai Tongji Hospital and Shanghai Deji Hospital. Now he is director of department of cardiology and intensive care unit (ICU) of Shanghai Punan Hospital, associate professor and postgraduate tutor. He founded RedHeart Medical Group in 2016 to focus on treating cardiovascular diseases and has completed nearly 10,000 coronary stent implantation.He is specialized in treating hypertension, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, heart valve disease, congenital heart disease, etc., and is good at various interventional cardiology operations, such as coronary angiography and stent implantation, cardiac pacemaker implantation, cardiac electrophysiological examination and radiofrequency ablation.
